The 2024 Sysco Global Cuisine Online Recipe Contest is a search for the most inventive cheese and dairy-centric takes on Italian-style and Global style dishes.
Participants will submit a complete original recipe. Each entry should include the following to be considered:
A panel of judges will then review all complete recipe submissions and select six finalists, three in the Italian-style category and three in the Artisan / Global-style category. The selected finalists will be asked to confirm the details of their recipe, including all ingredients, with accurate measurements, and cooking directions.
Each of the six winning finalist recipes will be prepared by professional Sysco chefs at a live cook-off event. At this event a panel of culinary professionals will taste and evaluate each dish. Evaluation criteria will be weighted toward the use of Riserva and Arrezzio brand Real California cheeses. Other scoring criteria include: menu appeal, flavor, and innovation and presentation. Once scoring is complete, the judges will announce a single winner in each category. Prizes will be awarded to all finalists and category winners.
