12 ounces chicken breast, cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons Ranch seasoning
2 tablespoons canola oil (or oil of your preference) , divided
2 cups Real California Mozzarella, shredded
½ cup Frank’s® hot sauce (or your preference of hot sauce)
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 package of wonton wrappers
Dipping Sauce (optional)
1 cup Ranch dressing
Garnish (optional)
Fresh minced chives or parsley
In a bowl, combine chicken slices, Ranch seasoning and 1 tablespoon of oil. Mix until chicken is well coated.
Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to a frying pan, add chicken and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
While the chicken is cooking, in a mixing bowl, combine the shredded Mozzarella, hot sauce and garlic powder. Set aside.
When the chicken is done, remove from heat and shred by hand or in a blender. Add the chicken to the cheese mixture. Mix well.
Set out wonton wrappers and fill with one heaping tablespoon of chicken and cheese mixture, sealing with water around all the edges, corner to corner.
Heat a deep fryer to 350°F and fry in batches for 3 to 4 minutes until desired golden brownness.
To plate: Fill a small dipping bowl with Ranch dressing. Arrange wontons on a plate and sprinkle with chives or parsley.
